I'm Meteorologist Daniel Johnson and you can watch me weekdays from 5-7AM and on 47 ABC News at noon.. I was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia so I'm very familiar with east coast weather here in the Mid-Atlantic.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today with hot and humid conditions and slightly breezy winds as well. A cold front may bring a few thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Thursday looks partly sunny and cooler with low humidity. Showers and storms will develop late in the day and continue off and on into the night. Temperatures during the day will be in the mid 80s.

Friday is looking like a wet and stormy day as an area of low pressure moves through the area. Highs will be near 80.

The weekend clears out with mostly sunny and warm weather. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

Have a great day!
