DOVER, Del. - Police in Dover have released new information in one of two Sunday shootings. Dover Police say 33-year-old Yusif Lamb, of New Jersey, was shot in the chest around 4:15 PM, on South Kirkwood Street, after a confrontation with 32-year-old Shamarr Willingham, of Dover.

Police say they believe that Lamb was riding in a red Jeep Commander, and stopped on South Kirkwood Street to confront Willingham, when Willingham fired several shots at him. Lamb, who was shot once in the chest, was rushed to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Shortly after the incident, Police released photos of the Jeep, which reportedly lead the owner of the SUV to contact Police, and participate in an interview. The vehicle is now apparently in Police custody. Detectives say they have found out that there were several other people present at the time of the shooting, and are working to identify those individuals.

Willingham is currently wanted on multiple charges, including reckless endangering, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. Police say more charges could be added as the investigation continues.

This homicide is the third for the City of Dover in 2014, and the second in less than 24 hours. Detectives now say that the homicide that happened on Simon Circle early Sunday morning, was not related to the South Kirkwood Street homicide. Officials clarify that at this time, they can't elaborate on the motive of either shooting.

Anyone with information about either incident, or Willingham's whereabouts, is asked to contact Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111, or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
