PITTSVILLE, Md. - A contractor was arrested on Tuesday, after he reportedly stole pills from a worksite, and didn't complete the work.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says 32-year-old Michael Fitzgerald, of Lewes, was hired to replace windows on a Sunrise Court home in Pittsville. According to the report, while the windows were being swapped out, the homeowner had to leave, when she returned, she discovered that Fitzgerald had left with her prescriptions of Endocet and Oxycodone.

Fitzgerald had also apparently not finished the work that he was hired to do. The Deputy reportedly found that Fitzgerald didn't have a license to perform home improvements through the State of Maryland.

On Tuesday, Fitzgerald was arrested in Lewes with assistance from Delaware State Police, who said he was wanted on multiple warrants that included acting as a contractor without a license. Fitzgerald was returned to Wicomico County, where he was charged with theft under $100, CDS possession, and act as a contractor without a license. He was later released on $50,000 bond.
