Woman Charged In Three Delaware Gas Station Burglaries

LEWES, Del. - A Georgetown woman has been arrested, after Police say she burglarized three area gas stations.

Delaware State Police say the first incident happened on January 21st at Uncle Willeys gas station on Coastal Highway in Lewes. According to the report, the suspect, later identified as 36-year-old Dawn Tulowitzki, used a hammer to smash a window out of the doorway. She reportedly got away with around 150 cartons of cigarettes, and $100 in cash.

On March 2nd, Tulowitzki reportedly returned and stole 6 cartons of cigarettes, and $100. Police say on March 9th, she went to the Uncle Willeys on South DuPont Highway in Millsboro, and again used a hammer to break in, and steal three packs of cigarettes and $100.

Police say witness interviews in an unrelated matter, lead to Tulowitzki's arrest on August 6th. She was charged with three counts of burglary 3rd degree, two counts of possession of burglary tools, three counts of theft, and three counts of criminal mischief. She is being held at Delores J. Baylor Women's Correction Institution on $9,500 bond.
