Milton Man Arrested for Burglary and Theft Charges

HARRINGTON, Del. - Harrington Police say they arrested 18 year old Jeramiah Tolley, of Milton, after he was suspected in a recent theft.

Police say, on Sunday, officers were called to the area of East Center St. and Harrington Avenue, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

When officers arrived on the scene, Tolley reportedly alerted authorities to stolen bicycles in a nearby alley. It was found the bicycles were allegedly taken from several residences on Delaware Ave.

According to the report, police quickly determined Tolley was a definite suspect in the theft of the bicycles, and was subsequently arrested.

He was processed and charged with two counts of Burglary Third Degree, two counts of Conspiracy Second Degree, two counts of Theft under $1,500 and one count of Criminal Mischief under $1,000.  Tolley was arraigned and released on $12,100 unsecured bond. 

An investigation is currently underway to identify other suspects involved in the case.
