Delaware State Fair Opens Gates And Launches App

Posted: Updated:

HARRINGTON, Del. - Thursday is Day One at the 2014 Delaware State Fair, and 47 ABC will be broadcasting LIVE from the fair, every single day! 47 ABC's Jemie lee was there, scoping out the fairgrounds and checking out some new features this year!

Jemie says "I've been covering the fair for the past three years now, and every year is just as exciting, if not even more exciting. There's always something new to look forward to! And new this year, is the Delaware State Fair App."

So if you've been to the fair before, you probably remember the ole' handy brochure. It has a map and a list of all the different events, but if you're tired of carrying this thing around or if you're tired of losing it all the time... no worries! Everything you need is now at the tip of your fingers!

The Delaware State Fair has launched its own app. A cool feature, you can set your own schedule, by adding a list of events that you want to attend on your own personal fair calendar! So before you come to the fairgrounds, be sure to download the Delaware State Fair app! It's absolutely free for all android and iOS devices!

Also, be sure to stop by the Exhibit Hall today to say hello to our news crew! We will be having a meet and greet session at 5 o'clock, before our 6 PM newscast! And be sure to stick around after the newscast to play a game on ABC's hit show "The Middle." We have great prizes to give away!

For all the information on the fair, visit our Delaware State Fair 2014 page, or the Delaware State Fair's website.
