Wicomico County Exec Candidates Talk Employment

Posted: Updated:

CRISFIELD, Md- We caught up with Wicomico County Executive Candidates Bob Culver and Rick Pollitt. Although the two men are running against each other, they've not only found a common interest in enjoying crabs, but also in the idea of a stronger economy in Wicomico County

Candidate Bob Culver says "We're trying to recruit businesses to come into Wicomico County and we want to get the people back to work and we want to get them back on their feet."

Candidate Rick Pollitt commented"We haven't quite gotten out of the recession, we're still not in recovery but we've taken advantage of the time to start planning a vision for how we're going to come out of things" 14:54:51>

Rick Pollitt plans to further stimulate the economy by focusing on the river, airport and energy in downtown Salisbury, while Bob Culver is relying on building more sweat and putting money in economic development.
