MD SHA To Spend $15M To Improve Safety & Traffic Flow

MARYLAND - The Maryland State Highway Administration has announced $15 million to help improve traffic flow and safety on state highways.

They will be adding 74 traffic cameras that detect traffic, backups, accidents and other major incidents for quicker response. Thirteen of those cameras will be installed on the Eastern Shore.

The agency will also increase emergency patrols overnight, for immediate on-the-road response.
