UPDATE: Seaford Burglary Suspect Dies After Water Rescue

SEAFORD, Del. - A wanted Seaford man has died, after he reportedly fled from Police, into a river.

Seaford Police say on Tuesday, 19-year-old Justin Johnson was pronounced dead at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, after complications from drowning.

According to the report, on Friday Johnson, who was wanted on burglary and related charges, fled from Officers down Cannon Street, and into the Nanticoke River.

Police say as Officers approached, Johnson went underwater, and had to be rescued by the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department Dive Team, before being rushed to NMH.
