Body Reportedly Found In Parksley, Investigation On-Going

PARKSLEY, Va. - Police say a body was found floating in an Accomack County creek, at the end of last month.

The Accomack County Sheriff's Office says on June 29th, around 12:30 PM, Deputies responded to Parker's Creek in the area of Finney Farm Drive near Parksley, for reports of a body floating in the water. Once on scene, Deputies and Parksley EMS found the body a Hispanic male.

The following day, the body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office in Norfolk for an autopsy. Police say the cause of death is currently pending. The man is identified as 25-year-old Victor Fidel Temaj-Ventura, who has no known address.
