GREENWOOD, Del. - A motorcyclist injured in a crash earlier this month, has succumb to his injuries. Delaware State Police say 67-year-old John Hodgson, of Millsboro, has died, after he was involved in a crash on July 6th, in Greenwood.

According to the report, as Hodgson was riding on Route 13, near Cart Branch Road, he hit the back of a pick-up truck, which caused him to loose control of the motorcycle, and be ejected from the bike. Police say Hodgson was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

He was initially taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, before being air-lifted to Christiana Medical Center, where he died on Monday afternoon. The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash. DSP's Collision Reconstruction Unit is reportedly still looking into the incident.
