UPDATE: One Arrested In Dover Elks Lodge Shooting

DOVER, Del. - Police say they have arrested a teen, in connection to the Elks Lodge shooting, that left two people injured on Sunday night.

Dover Police say their investigation into the July 6th incident, led to the arrest of a 17-year-old male. According to the report, the teen went into the North Kirkwood Street establishment just after midnight on Sunday, and fired at least three shots, which hit a 44-year-old male twice in the upper leg, and a 25-year-old male in the lower leg. The victims were treated at Bayhealth Kent General for non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses at the lodge reportedly gave a description of the teen, and surveillance footage confirmed, even reportedly showing the 9mm handgun in his hand as he fled. The 17-year-old was arrested at the William Marion Stevenson House Detention Center, where he was being held on unrelated charges.

He was charged with two counts of assault 1st degree, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of firearm by person prohibited, burglary 2nd degree, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon - firearm. The teen is still being held at Stevenson House, but his bond information was not immediately available.
