SALISBURY, Md. - A simple traffic stop earlier this month in Ocean City leads to a heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana bust.

According to reports, back on July 2nd, authorities attempted to pull over a car in the area of Baltimore Avenue for a noise violation when the car took off north on the same street.

A short time later, investigators say the driver, identified as Marcos Ortlip, 21, of Millsboro, stopped the car in a parking lot in the area of South First Street and was arrested for fleeing. Three passengers in the car were also arrested.

An investigation revealed Ortlip and two of the passengers, Brandon Garrison, 31, of Dagsboro, and Christina Boone, 23, of Millsboro, were in possession of controlled substances. Officers reportedly recovered 18 bags of heroin along with marijuana and crack cocaine.  They were both arrested while the third passenger was released at the scene.

The three have been charged with multiple drug possession and distribution charges. Garrison and Ortlip are being held on bond and Boone was released on her own recognizance.
