Three Vehicle Crash In Seaford Sends Three To Hospital

SEAFORD, Del. - Three people were transported to the hospital, after a three vehicle crash in Seaford.

Delaware State Police say around 2:00 PM, 50-year-old Anna Collick, of Laurel, was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand AM on Sussex Highway, near Concord Road. At the same time, a 2007 Dodge Sprinter van was stopped for a red light, behind a 2013 Dodge Ram pickup truck on Sussex Highway.

According to the report, for unknown reasons, Collick didn't stop, and rear ended the Sprinter van, causing the car to continue under the van, pushing it into the back of the pick-up truck.

Collick, and her two passengers, one adult and one teenager, were all taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. They were all reportedly wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Collick was cited for inattentive driving, driving while suspended and revoked, no proof of insurance, and no registration in possession.

Neither the driver of the van, or the truck, were injured in the incident. The crash impacted already jammed traffic due to a gas leak in Seaford, and was cleared within two hours.
