UPDATE: Route 13 Reopened After Gas Leak In Seaford

SEAFORD, Del. - Emergency crews were on the scene of a gas leak at Harring Run Road and Sussex Highway in Seaford, next to the M&T Bank.

Seaford Fire Department tells 47 ABC that some nearby buildings were evacuated, but have since been cleared. The call reportedly came in around 1:30 PM, and the Fire Department cleared the scene around 4:30 PM. 

The Fire Department tells us that a utility company working struck a 4 inch natural gas pipe. At this time, Chesapeake Utilities are on scene working to repair the busted pipe. One turn lane on Route 13 is closed during the work.
