ECI Inmates Growing Food To Feed Somerset County

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Eastern Correctional Institution is celebrating a major milestone.  Inmates at Maryland's largest prison are growing food to help feed residents in Somerset County, and next week, will celebrate its first ton of inmate-grown produce.

The prison, and the Somerset County Health Department have teamed-up to let inmates grow more than 20 different types of fruits and vegetables for the state's poorest county.
