EASTON, Md. - A Baltimore woman was arrested, after drugs were reportedly found during a traffic stop in Talbot County.

Easton Police say on Thursday night, an Officer on patrol saw a gold Ford Taurus driving over the speed limit, and pulled it over. During the stop, the Officer reportedly smelled a strong odor of suspected marijuana coming from a passenger, 19-year-old Brook Bridges. According to the report, the Officer asked Bridges to step out of the car, and searched her, after indicators of drug activity was found on the front seat.

Police say they found 10 baggies of suspected marijuana on Bridges, along with a smoking device. Bridges was arrested, charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and held at the Talbot County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.

Police say the driver, 25-year-old Carl Weaver, and one other passenger, 25-year-old Robert Knickman, both of Baltimore, were given criminal citations for possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
