DELMARVA - Hurricane Arthur made his way to the Delmarva Peninsula around 4:00 AM on Friday, July 4th. Meteorologist Daniel Johnson says as of around 11:00 AM, he was on his way back out.

Sprinkles stuck around until around 12:00 PM, but then we started to dry out. Sunshine is expected to return late Friday afternoon.

Daniel is cautioning beach goers that rip currents will remain a major problem, through Saturday, in the wake of the storm.

For the latest updates, visit Daniel's Facebook page, or the 47 ABC weather page.

Hurricane Arthur caused some local fireworks shows to be delayed or postponed. Click here for the latest updates on that.
