Reading Of The Declaration Of Independence Moved To Firehouse

GEORGETOWN, Del. - An annual Independence Day event in Sussex County, has been moved thanks to the rain.

Due to the weather conditions, the location for the Second annual Reading of the Declaration of Independence has been moved from the Georgetown Circle to the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Co. at 100 S. Bedford Street, which is just 1 block south of The Circle.

The event will still take place at Noon.
