UPDATE: Charges Dismissed In Fatal Shooting Of Grandfather

CAMDEN-WYOMING, Del. - The Associated Press is reporting that charges against a 17-year-old who is accused of shooting his grandfather, have been dropped.

The Delaware Attorney General's Office reportedly told the AP that both the assault and possession of a handgun charge that the teen was facing, have been dropped.

The 17-year-old was accused of shooting his 84-year-old grandfather, Charles Semans, in the stomach inside of a Camden-Wyoming home during an argument, on May 26th.

Semans died at Christiana Hospital three days later, his cause of death was determined to be gunshot wound to the abdomen. The teen was taken into custody after the death.
