Information Sought On Blades Liquor Store Robbery Suspect

Posted: Updated:

BLADES, Del. - Police are looking to identify a suspect, who apparently robbed a Blades liquor store on Tuesday night.

Delaware State Police say around 10:00 PM, a white male walked into the Blades Discount Liquors & Cigarette Outlet on Concord Road. According to the report, the suspect pulled out two guns, and demanded money from the two female employees behind the counter. Police say one of the employees turned over an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

After getting the cash, the suspect apparently went behind the counter, and took one of the employee's purses, which held a cell phone, along with cash and credit cards. Police say the suspect then fled the building, and ran towards Royal Farms.

Neither of the employees were injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6' tall, weighting between 170 and 180 pounds, with short red hair, last seen wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and white sneakers, while armed with two handguns.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Det. S. Kelly at 302-856-5850 x219 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted to the DSP Mobile Crime App, texting DSP to CRIMES (274637), or by visiting the TipSubmit website.
