Two Arrested After 12 Pounds Marijuana Found In Milford Home

MILFORD, Del. - A two day investigation into the sale of drugs in Milford, has wrapped up with the arrest of two men.

The Milford Police Department says on June 24th and 25th their Drugs & Narcotics Division finished a two day operation, by executing multiple search warrants at a home and vehicles on Marshall Street. At the home, 46-year-old Darrin Johnson, of Milford, and 43-year-old Bobby Jackson, of North Carolina, were arrested. Seized during the operation were two vehicles, more than $4,400 in cash, 12 pounds of marijuana, 2 ounces of cocaine, 2 handguns, and ammunition.

Each were charged with possession of marijuana - excess of 5,000 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession with intent to deliver. Johnson was additionally charged with possession of a firearm by person prohibited, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited, and 3 counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Jackson was additionally charged with possession of cocaine - excess of 25 grams, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Johnson was released on $42,000 bond, while Jackson is being held at Sussex Correctional Institute on $176,000 bond.

Milford Police Drugs & Narcotics Division was assisted by the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit, Dover Police, DEA Agents and Delaware State Police S.O.R.T Team during the investigation.
