UPDATE: Salisbury Man Charged In Giant Stabbing

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man has been arrested, after he apparently stabbed someone near a local grocery store parking.

Salisbury Police say on Monday evening, around 8:55 PM, Officers responded to Giant Foods on S. Salisbury Boulevard for reports of an assault with a knife. According to the report, 46-year-old Norman Wagner and 50-year-old Daniel Stormes Sr. were behind the store on the railroad tracks, when the two got into an argument. At one point, Stormes pulled out a knife, and stabbed Wagner, before fleeing the area on foot.

Police say 46-year-old Norman Wagner was stabbed once in the left forearm, and was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment. Responding Officers searched the area for the suspect, and found him near Eastern Shore Drive, and S. Division Street.

He was arrested, and was charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, and possession of a weapon with intent to injure, before being released to the custody of Central Booking.
