Virginia Man Arrested On Drug Charges In Easton

EASTON, Md. - A Virginia man was arrested on Saturday, after a traffic stop reportedly led to the discovery of drugs.

Easton Police say an Officer on patrol near High Street and Ocean Gateway when a black BMW passed driving over the speed limit. The BMW, which was driven by 22-year-old Bryce Cordray, was pulled over, and a k-9 search of the car was ordered.

Police say the k-9 gave a very positive alert, and a search of the vehicle revealed several small bags of drugs, and around $150 in cash. Police say the drugs found were pills of a "club drug" MDMA. There were reportedly around 40 pills in all the bags.

Cordray was arrested, and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and possession of drugs - not marijuana. He is being held at the Talbot County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
