The Maryland State Highway Administration says on Monday, June 30th, crews will be repairing the MD 54, also known as Delmar Road) bridge, that runs over Mockingbird Creek.

The bridge, located about one mile East of Mardela Springs, will be worked on from 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM.

There will be a detour, that brings drivers to Route 50, to avoid the construction, as MD 54 will be shut down from Old Railroad Road to Route 50.

If the project is delayed because of bad weather, the work will be done the following evening using the same nighttime schedule.
