BETHLEHEM, Md. - A motorcyclist died during a three vehicle crash in Caroline County.

Maryland State Police - Easton say on Thursday morning, around 9:50 AM, Troopers responded to a three vehicle crash at Dover Bridge Road and Bethlehem Road. An investigation showed that a Hino truck, driven by 62-year-old Amiel Durham, and a Honda motorcycle were stopped for a work zone.

A Dodge pick-up truck, driven by 22-year-old Charles Fisher, crashed into the motorcycle, pushing it into the back of the Hino truck.

The motorcyclist, 56-year-old William Hutson, was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. Fisher was taken from the scene, to Easton Memorial Hospital and released, while the Hino truck driver was uninjured.

Dover Bridge Road was closed for around five hours, while the scene was investigated and cleared. At this time, Police say alcohol is not believed to be a factor. Authorities say the investigation into this incident is continuing, and charges are pending further investigation.
