UPDATE: One Wanted After Bank Robbery In Vienna

VIENNA, Md. - Police are looking for a suspect, who reportedly robbed a bank in Vienna.

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office says around 11:00 AM on Thursday, Deputies, and Troopers with Maryland State Police were called to the Hebron Savings Bank on Market Road, for reports of an armed robbery.

An investigation showed that a one black male went into the bank, pulled out a weapon, and demanded cash. Police say he fled with an undisclosed amount of money. One bank customer who was in a position to flee, did so during the robbery, and was hurt when she fell from the steps of the bank. She was rushed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center by Dorchester EMS to be treated.

The investigation into the robbery is being handled by the Sheriff's Office, MSP, and the FBI Salisbury Office. Anyone with information about this incident, specifically anything suspicious around the time of the robbery in Vienna, is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 410-228-2255.
