GEORGETOWN, Del. - With Delaware ranked fourth in the nation for the tick-transmitted-illness, lyme disease, state lawmakers are working to put an end to the potentially crippling bacterial infection.

The House Health and Human Development Committee is set to discuss legislation that was passed by the Senate last week.

It would create a Lyme Disease Prevention Task Force, which would work to push education, prevention, and treatment for the disease.
