DENTON, Md. - Charges are pending after a juvenile reportedly took a car, and crashed it. Maryland State Police say around 11:15 PM on Monday, Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Adams Landing Road, in Denton.

An investigation reportedly showed that the driver of the Ford Focus, a male juvenile, lost control of the vehicle, and drove off the roadway. The car apparently continued, hitting an embankment, then a tree, where it stopped. Along with the driver, there were three juvenile passengers inside the Focus.

The driver, and two of the passengers were taken to Easton Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the fourth was flown to Shock Trauma.

Police say the driver had taken the vehicle from the parking lot of the McDonald's in Denton, without permission. At this time, both traffic and criminal charges are pending.
