Police Investigate Robbery Of Wilmington Liquor Store

WILMINGTON, Del. - Delaware State Police say they are investigating a robbery of Cutrona Liquors, 4623 North Market Street, that occurred Friday morning.

According to reports, the incident occurred at 9:10 AM when a black male suspect entered the store while brandishing a handgun. He reportedly demanded money from the clerk, a 66-year-old male, and struck the clerk.

Police say the clerk opened the cash register and fled from the business. Upon exiting, he reportedly encountered a second black male suspect, who was apparently acting as a lookout. The first suspect reportedly took money from the cash register, and both suspects then fled.

Police say the first suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, approximately 5'11" tall, with a thin build. The lookout is reportedly described as a black male, 20-30 years old, approximately 5'8" tall, with a large build.
