Georgetown Man Incarcerated After Two Wednesday Arrests

GEORGETOWN, Del. - A Georgetown man is behind bars, after being arrested twice on Wednesday.

Georgetown Police Department say around 1:15 PM, Officer arrived at an apartment on N. Railroad Avenue, for a reported assault in progress. An investigation showed that 22-year-old Brandon Hall was involved in an argument with a 20-year-old woman, that turned physical. Police say the victim attempted to call 911, but Hall grabbed her shirt by the neck, and threw her onto a bed, before taking her phone.

Hall war arrested, charged with offensive touching, and malicious interference with emergency communications, before being released on a $500 bond. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Around 4:25 PM, Police say they were called back to the same apartment, for a domestic in progress. Inside the residence, Officers reportedly found Hall, who had apparently returned to the apartment, and started to argue with the victim about the earlier arrest.

Hall was arrested again, and charged with a breach of release. This time however, Hall was held at Sussex Correctional Institute on a $2,000 bond. He has future court dates pending.
