3rd Friday In Downtown Salisbury - Urban Artscapes And Wheels

SALISBURY, Md. - Downtown Salisbury is gearing up for another edition of 3rd Friday. This month's theme is Urban Artscapes and Wheels.

Starting at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 20th, head to Downtown Salisbury to see yarn bombs, the unveiling of a new heron mural, or attend a walking tour with neat features of the area. There will also be music and tons of art, both outside, and inside the AIG Center, and the Salisbury University Art Galleries.

The event will also feature a car show, the bookmobile, the Salisbury Roller Girls, and a live pottery wheel demonstration. The downtown stores and restaurants will be open, with extended hours and specials.

3rd Friday events run until 8:00 PM, so be sure to head out and have fun!

The measure allows those groups to notify the government, rather than their insurance company, that birth control violates their religious beliefs. The government is also extending an existing accommodation to some for-profit corporations like Hobby Lobby that's currently available only to nonprofits.More >>
