2014 Delmarva Fireworks Listing

47 ABC – Summer is here, and Independence Day is right around the corner, have you planned where you are going to view fireworks from yet? Well, you're in luck! Here is a list of firework shows around the area. If you know of any that we missed, email the information to us at newsroom@47ABC.com, or post it in the comments below and we will add it to the list.

 

DELAWARE:

  • Bethany Beach – Parade has been cancelled due to Hurricane Arthur. Fireworks have been POSTPONED until July 5th at dusk, off Wellington Parkway. For more information visit the Town of Bethany Beach website
  • Dover – July 4th at approximately 9:25 PM Fireworks will be exploding in the sky over Legislative Hall. For more information and a complete list of the day's available activities, visit the Dover 4th of July website. Still on as planned!
  • Laurel - July 4th, fireworks will launch at dusk in Downtown Laurel. Still on as planned!
  • Rehoboth – July 4th around 9:15 PM. They will be visible from the Boardwalk and all up and down the Shoreline. Still on as planned!

 

MARYLAND:

  • Cambridge - July 4th on the Waterfront. They will be visible from both Long Wharf Park near High and Water Streets and Great Marsh Park near Somerset Avenue and Hambrooks Boulevard. For more information visit The City of Cambridge's website.
  • Crisfield – Saturday, July 5th. Freedom Fest, with fireworks at 9:15 PM. Hosted by the American Legion, held at the City Dock. The Freedom fest will consist of food, arts & crafts, live music, military color guards, patriotic music, military photo slide show & games. Call the Chamber for more information 410-968-2500 or the Crisfield American Legion 410-968-2415.
  • Easton - July 4: Easton's Carnival & 4th of July Celebration - 4 PM. An opportunity to enjoy the carnival, food for sale, and Live Music with Fireworks at dusk. Waterside Village, (behind Target), Marlboro Avenue, Easton. For more information call 410-822-7299. Still on as planned!
  • Hebron- July 4th at 9:30 PM on the Hebron Carnival Grounds. Rain date July 5th.
  • Nanticoke - July 5th at 9:00 PM at the Roaring Point Campground. Concessions and live music will be offered. For more information call 410-873-2553 or visit the Roaring Point website.
  • Ocean City - RESCHEDULED for July 5th 8:00 - 10:00 PM. Enjoy a free concert at 8 PM, followed by fireworks at 9:30PM at Northside Park on 125th Street, or the beach at N. Division Street. For more information, call 1-800-OC-OCEAN or 410-250-0125.
  • Ocean Pines – RESCHEDULED for Sunday, July 6th, shortly after dark, at Showell Park. Recommended viewing locations are Showell Elementary School, the Community Church at Ocean Pines, Most Blessed Sacrament School and The Pavilions. Please note that there will be no parking available at St. John Neumann church this year. Rescheduled for Saturday, July 5th is Freedom 5K Race - 7 AM registration, 8 AM race starts at Veterans Memorial Park and the Independence Day Celebration at Sports Core Field from 10 AM – 2 PM.
  • Salisbury:
    •  July 4th at the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium after the Delmarva Shorebirds 6:35 PM game. Still on as planned!
    • July 4th at Red, White, and Boom: fireworks will be launched from the Bennett Middle School athletic field at approximately 9:15 PM. Viewing is available JMB High School, and Salisbury University's Athletic Fields. Vendors will be at the JMB soccer field. Parking at both Bennett Middle and High Schools. Parking is also available in any of the University's parking lots, walk through the tunnel under Route 13 to get a better view. Still on as planned!
  • Tangier Island - Tangier Island Cruises is offering a Fireworks Cruise on July 5th aboard the "Steven Thomas". Boarding 7 PM; departs 7:30 PM. Adults: $12.00 – Children 12 & under: $6.00. For more information, or to reserve your spot, call Tangier Island Cruises at 410-968-2338.

 

VIRGINIA:

  • Cape Charles: POSTPONED until July 5th Independence Day Celebration starts at 8:00 AM, with lots of activities, including a fireworks show after dark on the beach. For more information, visit the Cape Charles website.
  • Chincoteague: POSTPONED until July 5th at 10 PM at the Chincoteague Carnival Grounds on South Main Street.
