KENT CO., Del. - Two Harrington men have been arrested, after they were reportedly connected to multiple burglaries and thefts throughout Kent County.

Delaware State Police say Troopers started investigating burglaries that had happened in Felton, Harrington, Houston, and Marydel in early May. During most of these incidents, the suspects apparently forced their way into unoccupied homes, and stole jewelry and firearms. Police say they would then attempt to sell the stolen items at local pawn shops. That investigation lead Police to 25-year-old Daniel Everett, and 25-year-old Robert Wright III, as their suspects.

According to the report, shortly after two separate burglaries on June 5th, Detectives on surveillance in Felton, found Everett and Wright as they were leaving a development off of Irish Hill Road. The Detectives reportedly followed the vehicle to a home on Upper King Road, where they arrested Wright without incident. Everett reportedly tried to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended in a corn field.

Both suspects, and their vehicle, were taken back to Troop 3. A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed a .44 caliber revolver in the center console, along with 17 other firearms in the trunk, all of which had been reported stolen earlier in the day. Police say after interviewing the suspects, they found another 15 firearms, that had been stolen over the course of the month.

On Monday, Everett was charged with 11 counts of burglary 2nd degree, 36 counts of theft of a firearm, and numerous counts of theft and criminal mischief. He is currently being held on $56,050 bond at Sussex Correctional Institute. Wright was charged with burglary 2nd degree, theft of a firearm, and numerous counts of theft and criminal mischief. He is being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $23,000 cash bond.
