Georgetown Reveals New Brand, Town Seal

GEORGETOWN, Del. - You may notice some changes when strolling through Georgetown.

After consulting with an outside agency, the town now has a new brand, "well-rounded," and a new town seal. The changes come after Arnett Muldrow & Associates, Ltd. worked with members of the Georgetown Town Council, state, county and local economic development leaders, Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, and interested citizens during two days of intense focus groups.

The goals behind the changes are to reportedly create a consistent image package for the community and its partners to be used for building local pride, recruiting investment into the community, and marketing Georgetown to visitors.

Town officials hope to enhance the changes with new banners downtown, and also reportedly plan to allow  groups across the community, including farmer's markets, to use the new branding to market their services as well.
