Motorcyclist Hit In DE Crash Dies Of Injuries

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - The Delaware State Police says a motorcyclist who was struck by a car in New Castle County in May has died as a result of his injuries.

The Delaware State Police says 56-year-old Roy Knightly of Bear died Friday.

The Delaware State Police has said Knightly was injured in a crash on the evening of May 23 when he was riding his motorcycle northbound on Governor Printz Boulevard. Troopers say Knightly had slowed to make a turn onto Haines Avenue when he was hit by the driver of a Chevrolet Cruze. State police say he was thrown onto the roadway and pinned under the car.

No charges have been filed.
