UPDATE: Salisbury Heroin Dealer Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man will spend the next decade behind bars on drug charges.

On Thursday, 23-year-old Shamar Cropper was convicted on one count of possession with the intent to distribute heroin and one count of possession of cocaine.

The judge then sentenced him to ten years of active incarceration in the Maryland Division of Corrections for the heroin offense, and four years suspended for the cocaine offense. Once released, Cropper will be on supervised probation for three years.

The charges stem from a traffic stop, where Cropper was the passenger, and during a post arrest search Police found a plastic baggie with heroin, cocaine, and Oxycodone, in his buttocks.
