VALLEY FORGE, Pa. – Salisbury University Ashton Wheatley and Bethany Baer were honored today by being named the National Division III Goalkeeper and Midfielder of the year.

This is the third straight year that Wheatley has been named Goalkeeper of the Year. The senior captain guarded the cage for three full seasons, racking up a program-record 66 victories and falling just twice.

Baer concludes her junior season with the recognition as Midfielder of the Year. Being named the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Division III tournament, the starting captain continued to baffle opponents with her skills on both sides of the field.
