Police Searching For Berlin Burglary Suspect

Posted: Updated:

BERLIN, Md. - The Berlin Police Department says they are searching for a burglary suspect.

According to reports, at 10:35 PM on Friday, the Berlin Police Department responded to the 300 block of William Street for a domestic dispute and found no active dispute or evidence of a dispute.  Approximately one hour later, the Berlin Police Department reportedly received a second call regarding that location stating that a wanted subject, Orion Conway, was at the residence.

Officers say they made contact with Conway, who evaded officers and fled the area.  A two-hour search of the area was reportedly conducted by the Berlin Police Department, Worcester County Sheriff's Office, Maryland State Police, and Maryland State Police Aviation Unit with negative results.

Police say while at the William Street address, Amanda Sinclair was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Theft $10,000 to under $100,000 and released to the Maryland State Police for service of the warrant. Conway is reportedly charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, Malicious Destruction of Property plus $1,000, Theft $1,000 to under $10,000, and Conspiracy to commit 2nd Burglary.

Police say Sinclair and Conway's charges stem from a May 25th Burglary on Bay Street in Berlin. Joseph Emm of Berlin has also been reportedly charged in the incident and was arrested on May 30th by the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation for 2nd Degree Burglary, Malicious Destruction of Property plus $1,000, Theft: $1,000 to under $10,000, and Conspiracy to commit 2nd Burglary.

Anyone having information regarding Orion Conway or his whereabouts should contact the Worcester County Bureau (410) 632-1111 or the Berlin Police Department at 410-641-1333.
