Rash Of Thefts From Vehicles Under Investigation In Wicomico Co.

WICOMICO CO., Md. - Law enforcement in Wicomico County is reportedly investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says they have been investigating a spike in thefts from vehicles, that happened during the first week of June. Police say during the incidents, the suspects have removed purses, handheld electronics, and cash from the vehicles.

The vehicles were reportedly unlocked at the times of the thefts. So far, Police say they have investigated incidents on Naas Road, Pacific Avenue, Cannon Drive, Chestnut Street in Hebron, Glendale Drive, Carey Avenue, and Olivia Street.

Police are reminding drivers to take the time to lock your vehicle, to avoid being a victim. The investigation is on-going at this time.
