West Ocean City Traffic Stop Ends With Charges For Three

WEST OCEAN CITY, Md. - Police say a traffic stop in Worcester County, lead to the discovery of drugs and a handgun.

Maryland State Police say around 10:35 PM, a Trooper was on patrol near Route 50 at Golf Course Road, in West Ocean City, when he noticed a black Nissan driving without proper headlights. According to the report, the Trooper pulled over the vehicle in the Royal Farms parking lot, and reportedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana inside.

Police say the three occupants got out of the vehicle, while the Trooper searched it, and reportedly recovered a set of brass knuckles, CDS suspected marijuana, CDS not marijuana, CDS paraphernalia, and a Handgun Powerline Daisy, 93 Co 2 BB gun.

Twenty one-year-old David Pearce Jr., and 20-year-old Brandon Reihl were both taken to be seen by the Worcester County Comissioner, on charges of handgun in vehicle, CDS marijuana, and CDS not marijuana. Twenty-year-old Nathan Houck was released on a citation.
