MARYLAND - Voting officials in Maryland want to make sure that those looking to vote, have all the information they need for the primary election.

The Maryland gubernatorial primary election will be on Tuesday, June 24th, 2014 with voting from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM, at your assigned polling place. To find your polling place, you may have received a voter notification card in the mail, or you can find it through the Board of Election's website.

From Thursday, June 12th through Thursday, June 19th, voters can also go to a designated early voting center. There is reportedly one per county for the primary. To find an early voting center in your county, visit the Board of Election's website. Voters will use a touchscreen voting system at polling places, and get assistance from an election judge, if needed.

If you are unable to vote in person, either early or on the day of the election, you can request an absentee ballot, which are available through the mail, or electronically. The deadline to request a mailed or faxed absentee ballot is Tuesday, June 17, 2014, while the deadline to request an electronic absentee ballot is Friday, June 20, 2014. To request an absentee ballot, go to the Board of Election's website.

If you are unsure if you are registered to vote, you can fill-out a provisional ballot, which will only be counted if the applicant is found to be registered. To request a provisional ballot, visit the Board of Election's website.
