Delaware Students Perform A Million Acts Of Kindness

Posted: Updated:

Milford, De. - Students at Milford high and elementary school started the "students for a million acts of kindness" or "SMAK" program last October.  Their goal throughout the year was to complete at least one million random acts of kindness.  Some students volunteered outside of class, while others did simple things, like asking students to eat lunch with them and holding doors.

They surpassed their goal on Tuesday, with a whopping total of 1,069,116 acts of kindness!  Four brave teachers showed their support for their students by shaving off their hair.  The school hopes to bring the program back next school year.
