DOVER, Del. - A Dover man has been arrested, after allegedly stabbing a friend during a party.

Dover Police say on Monday, around 11:00 PM, Officers responded to a home on East Wind Drive, of reports of a loud party and disorderly person. According to the report, 37-year-old Leo Martin was being loud and arguing with several people at the event, but friends of Martin said they would bring him inside and handle it.

Less than ten minutes later, Officers returned to the home, after a 911 call was received. Police say Martin had stabbed an 31-year-old male in the stomach two times. The victim reportedly became uncooperative with Police Officers and medical personnel on scene, and refused medical attention. The knife, a 3 1/8" switch blade knife, was reportedly recovered at the scene.

Martin was charged with possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, unlawful dealing with switchblade, and assault 2nd degree. Bond information is currently unavailable for Martin, we'll bring you more information as it becomes available.
