GEORGETOWN, Del. - Police say they have located a man, who reportedly attacked another man in a parking lot, in front of his children.

Georgetown Police say on Monday, they received a tip with the whereabouts of 26-year-old Andre Daniels, who was wanted in connection to a May 16th assault that left the 39-year-old victim with a serious eye injury. Georgetown Police, with assistance from Delaware State Police, responded to an apartment Long Neck Boulevard, in Longneck. Police say they knocked on the door numerous times, and both Daniels and his girlfriend 27-year-old Tameka Smith, of Longneck, refused to come out. According to the report, after two hours, both surrendered to Police.

Daniels was arrested and charged with assault 1st degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institute on bond.

Smith was charged with hindering prosecution, and released on bond. Both have pending court dates in the future.
