Salisbury Council To Consider Parking Lot Development Bid

Posted: Updated:

SALSIBURY, Md. - Revitalization in Salisbury keeps moving along.

The City Council could accept a bid for a new project downtown.

In a closed session Monday, The Council will receive a plan to develop either parking lot 1 or 11 in downtown Salisbury.  If the plan is picked up, it would still be some time before the not-yet-identified project would be completed, but City Council President Jake Day says he's excited to see any progress.

"That may be 18 months, 24 months before groundbreaking because there's a lot to do in a development project," says Day, "but that's pretty significant that the city would enter into a contract on something if we choose to do that."
