Fruitland Police Investigating Thefts From Vehicles Overnight

Posted: Updated:

FRUITLAND, Md. - Police in Fruitland are looking for information, after they say several vehicles were ransacked and had items taken, overnight.

Fruitland Police say on Wednesday morning they responded to Ridgefield Lane and South Camden Avenue, where several vehicles had been gone into by an unknown suspect, and had property stolen from them. Police say the incidents happened between the evening of Tuesday, May 27th and early morning of Wednesday, May 28th.

All of the vehicles were apparently left unlocked. According to the report, many items of value weren't taken, making Police think the suspect was looking for small electronics and money.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything in the Camden Avenue area during the night, to contact them at 410-548-2803.

Fruitland Police are also reminding citizens to lock vehicles, and keep valuables out of sight to reduce opportunities for criminals. Report any suspicious activity to your local Police Department, immediately.
