Lower Shore Enterprises Highlights New Solar Energy Project

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Lower Shore Enterprises is hoping for some bright, sunny days this summer.

That's because the non-profit unveiled a new solar energy project for their facility on Tuesday.

It will be the area's first non-profit Purchase Power Agreement and apparently Paradise Energy Solutions is building the solar array for free.

Work is already underway on installing the 300 panel system.

"As a non-profit, Lower Shore Enterprises will be able to meet its energy needs for the next 20 years at a stable cost and do it in an environmentally sensitive way," said Luis Luna, CEO of LSE.

The project is expected to be up and running within the next three weeks.
