Tyler, TX - The SU softball team is one win away from a national title after a series split against the Tufts Jumbos on Monday.
Game one for Salisbury was a come from behind 2-1 win. Game two, things got interesting as the Sea Gulls and Jumbos. Head coach Margie sent Kathryn Larson to the mound, her first of the postseason, and she retired the first nine batters before giving up a leadoff single in the fourth.
The game remained until the 14th. Jumbos scored six times off of Rachel Johnson and Larson. The Sea Gulls fall 6-0 in game two.
It's a winner-take-all game on Tuesday. First pitch set for noon.
