DELAWARE, Ohio – Salisbury University sophomore Luke
Campbell claimed two
national championships and four All-American awards.
Campbell's time in the men's 110 meter hurdles was not only a school record, but it was the third fastest time in Division III history. Shortly there after, he went on to win the men's 400 meter hurdles.
four individual sport titles are the most by any student-athlete in
school history, and the six All-American awards he has earned in his two
seasons are just one shy of Delannie Spriggs, who collected seven from 2007-2010.
is now in a select group of just 54 Division III student-athletes who
have won three or more outdoor national championships in their career,
more seasons of eligibility remaining.
The track & field programs have now collected 11 individual national championships, all coming in the past six seasons.
